We’re pleased to share that Park in the Past has been awarded £16,774 from the Flintshire Tourism Growth Fund, which is part of the UK Government Shared Prosperity Fund administered by Cadwyn Clwyd. The award, which was approved on 5th September 2025, is Cadwyn Clwyd’s 70% contribution towards a project with a total value of £23,964, with Park in the Past providing the remaining 30%.
The grant will pay for the purchasing of a modern toilet trailer that will replace the existing chemical toilets by our lake. This will enhance the visitor experience by providing greatly improved facilities for our lake users whilst being more in keeping with Park in the Past’s sustainable and environmentally friendly ethos.
We are incredibly grateful to Cadwyn Clwyd and the Flintshire Tourism Growth Fund for enabling this important improvement to Park in the Past’s facilities to take place.
