Getting Your Gear To The Water

Please note that vehicles are not permitted lakeside. The walk from the car park to the water is approximately 500 metres. If you’re bringing a SUP board, kayak or canoe, we can help transport your equipment to the water for a round-trip fee of £2. Just ask at the kiosk for more information.

On busy days, we’re limited by the amount of equipment we can transport. To help manage demand, priority is given to lake users who have pre-booked online or hold a loyalty card. When space is tight, watercraft will be prioritised over non-essential personal items such as chairs, coolers and picnics.

For the latest information on the day, please check our Facebook page before you travel.

Inflate, Launch, Enjoy

SUP-Ready In No Time

Spend less time pumping and more time paddling thanks to our paddleboard inflation station. The machine is located near the kiosk in the main car park and offers a safe, fast inflation, bringing a standard 3-metre paddleboard up to 15 psi in under five minutes.

Please be sure to check the Park in the Past Facebook page for alerts about weather and safety updates.
