Wild Water Swimming

Swim in a Beautiful landscape

Our magnificent 35-acre lake is a truly magical and tranquil place. Swim in perfect peace in gorgeous clean water surrounded by the stunning scenery of Flintshire’s Hope Mountain and Clwydian Range.

We are blessed with a natural lake and we ensure it stays clean all year round with special sustainable technology that is kind to the abundant native wildlife. Our swimmers adore the lake and are very appreciative of changing facilities and toilets, beverage and ice cream cafe and, for those who want to have the best of both worlds, we also have saunas for hire on on our lakeside haven.

A Lake Like No Other

One of Wales’ cleanest lakes

Our beautiful lake is one of the cleanest in Wales. We have invested in new ultrasonic technology that ensures the water quality is kept as safe as possible for swimmers, kayakers and even visitors’ canine companions who venture near the water’s edge. We’re immensely proud of the pleasure the lake brings to our community and visitors from far and wide.
