Think you’ve got what it takes to become a Viking? Join the incredible Viking School Days at Park in the Past for an action-packed, interactive Viking Boot Camp inside our atmospheric Earth House!
Young warriors will meet a real Viking- Olaf the beardless-who will take them on a journey back over 1,000 years. Through a little bit of storytelling, hands-on activities and plenty of laughter, they’ll discover what life was really like during the Viking Age. Along the way they’ll learn Viking words and phrases, hear tales from the Norse world, master authentic battle manoeuvres, including the legendary Viking shield wall, and be trained in the skills needed to become part of a real Viking warband. This isn’t a show where children simply watch, they’ll become part of the adventure from beginning to end!
There are two identical sessions running on the day:
Session 1: 12:00pm
Session 2: 2:30pm
You only need to book onto one session, both offer exactly the same Viking experience, so simply choose the time that suits you and your family best.
