Join us for ‘Saturnalia’, the Roman Midwinter Festival, and unleash the chaos!
Saturnalia at Park in the Past is a family friendly event, set in and around our Earth House, celebrating Midwinter with artisan and craft stalls, food and drink, live music, our Roman soldiers’ parade and a fantastic fire show from Slack & Spark fire performers!
Saturnalia is all about fun, misrule and joyous CHAOS!!!
It’s the time of year when normal Roman society was turned on its head, a slave could be an Emperor for the day! People gave gifts and enjoyed family parties, in homes decorated with greenery.
Dogs welcome on leads.
This is an outdoor event, so please bring your torches and wear your wellies or outdoor boots, as it can get a bit muddy.
Additional information on this event will be published here once they are confirmed.
